Mr. Farris attended the University of Houston receiving a B.B.A. in Finance in 1974. He was awarded his CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation from the Institute of Real Estate in 1979, his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 2004, his CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) designation in 2006 and is a licensed real estate broker in Arizona (License No. 191080908-00) and Texas (License No. 298702).

Mr. Farris, being involved in the leasing and property management field for over 35 years transitioned to the construction industry while working for Gerald D. Hines Interests, in Houston, Texas where he was contributed to the growth of Hines from a local Houston company to an international company. He assisted in the design, construction and development of over 2.5 million square feet of office space during his time with Hines. He opened the Grubb & Ellis Property Services office in Houston, Texas where he assisted in the design and was tenant improvement construction coordinator for over 3 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space.

He has served as an independent commercial real estate broker, as well as, Vice President of Leasing for a Houston developer. While in that capacity he supported clients and developer with the design and construction of over 1.5 million square feet of office and industrial space.

Mr. Farris has developed and consulted in the development of numerous projects over the last 40 years, either as the developer or a consultant.

Mr. Farris, formed Commercial Builders Associates, Inc. in 2010 and has grown the company into a successful tenant improvement and general contractor construction company. The company has developed installed tenant improvements and constructed properties throughout Arizona.

Mr. Farris has been an active instructor at the Arizona School of Real Estate for the past fifteen years and was the 2007 President for the local chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM),  a past member of the IREM National Membership and Credentialing Committee of the IREM Industry Standards Advisory Board while facilitating in the development of IREM’s Best Practices Manual for Real Estate Management Services. He is the past President of the Phoenix University Club and a founding member of ReCom Global, LLC, an REO management company that assists the banking community with it dispositions of REO portfolios.  Mr. Farris is currently President/Designate Broker of Farrmont Realty Group, Inc. AMO®; a commercial leasing, brokerage and property management company.

Cherie D. Schreiner

cherie-qmsMs. Schreiner has been involved with property management accounting since 1988. She has served as Accounting Supervisor for many well-known local property management companies. She has a superior knowledge of nearly every nationally known software package on the market. She has worked with Skyline, MRI, CenterSoft, Yardi and many other property management and accounting software packages. She has been responsible for all accounting functions, which includes new construction, maintenance and existing properties. She has been responsible for real estate portfolios consisting of more than 150 properties, and homeowner associations as large as 5,000 homes. Her experience includes office, retail, apartments, industrial, maintenance accounting, property owners association, office condominium associations and homeowner association accounting. Ms. Schreiner is a Arizona Licensed Real Estate Agent.

kevin-qmsMr. Banning has been involved in the maintenance of apartments, commercial, and associations since 1992. He has held his HVACR Certification since 1993. He has extensive HVACR experience with many brands of HVAC equipment, including various heat pump split systems, evaporative cooling systems and large capacity equipment.
